Philippine Mental Health Association – CORDILLERA CHAPTER INC.

The Lakas Isipan Ng Kabataan Club or LINK Club is the implementing arm of the PMHA in the promotion of mental health in the schools. It is organized in the schools after the YLEP training or through meetings/consultations with concerned schools.

LINK Club advisers periodically gather together throughout the school year to have an orientation on the Programs and Services of the PMHA-CCI and LINK Club and discuss plans for the LINK Club calendar of activities.

This is a three-day seminar for high school students and a whole day seminar for college students. It aims to equip them with knowledge and skills to become mental health youth advocates and responsible leaders for their selves, their families, their schools and their communities.

This activity aims to officially instate the LINK Club Advisers and Officers who help in the achievement of the Chapter’s goal in the schools and to recognize the LINK Advisers and officers who believe and work for the cause of PMHACCI. The Acquaintance Party serves as a venue for the LINK Club advisers and officers from the different LINK Clubs to be acquainted to each other.

The LINK Club Presidents and Vice Presidents gather to report updates regarding the activities they initially aimed to implement and any development in their federation project. Committee representatives also relate updates in their activities.

This is a yearly activity that allows the LINK Club members or LINKers to showcase their talent, skills and intelligence through the following events: On-the-Spot Essay Writing, Interpretative Dance, On-the-Spot Poster Making, Oration, Likhawitan and Mental Health Quiz Bee.

The Christmas Party is a yearly activity of the LINK Club wherein all of the LINKers come together to celebrate the yuletide season.
